Brighton’s Theatre Royal provides ‘atmospheric events’

It won’t go completely dark at Brighton’s Theatre Royal this August, with a range of events keeping things ticking over during the venue’s annual break.

Spokeswoman Rachel Knowles said: “The theatre has put together a programme of atmospheric events in unusual settings to keep the Theatre alive during the annual dark period.

“Children, families, and adults will have a rare glimpse of the hidden parts behind the scenes at the Theatre, where all the events take place. Audiences will enter the building through the Stage Door on Bond Street generally used by the actors.”
