Last few Selsey Festival events

Selsey Festival now enters its final week with a number of highlights still to come:

Thursday, August 23. Cliff Reeves And His Kind Of Music. An afternoon of easy listening and jazz music. 2pm-4.15pm. St Peters Church Hall. Tickets: £3 on the door to include refreshments.

Friday, August 24. The West Sussex Guitar Club presents an evening dedicated to the art of the classical guitar - a concert given by junior and senior members from the classical guitar society based in Bognor Regis. Guitar solos, ensembles, duets with other instruments and voice. 7.30-9.30pm. Selsey Centre. Tickets: £6.50 (children free) includes refreshments from the box office or on the door.

Friday, August 24- August, Sunday 26. Selsey Quilters Patchwork & Quilt Show

Large array of new quilts and wallhangings plus sales table, traders, refreshments, raffle quilt and grand draw as well as an extensive book stall. Visit www.selseyquilters.co.uk. 10am-5pm (Sunday 4pm) Medmerry School, School Lane. Admission: £1 on the door in aid of the Snowdrop Trust and St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26. The Imaginarium, an art exhibition of great imagination. Drawings and paintings, sculpture, photography, digital art, handmade creations. Enjoy a slice of cake and a cup of tea from at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party as you view. 10am-4pm.Town Hall. Entrance: donations to charity.

Sunday, August 26. Garden Party in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by permission of Sir Patrick Moore. A relaxed afternoon with lots to see and buy. Stalls include, bric-a-brac, toys, books, jewellery, cakes and bakes. Live music, tombolas, raffles and games, teas and refreshments.1-4.30pm. Farthings, 39 West Street. Admission £2.50 Children under ten free.
