A good '˜loos' story for Rustington. . .

Rustington Parish Council is once again celebrating a top haul of awards at the annual Loo of the Year Awards.

The public toilets in Churchill Car Park were among the best in the UK, scooping the top-flight platinum award.

Elsewhere, the loos in Broadmark Lane and The Street also picked up well-earned silver awards.

The awards have been identifying the best loos in Britain since 1987 and are recognised as standard-setters for all those who provide people with ‘away from home’ facilities.

The judging criteria include signage, fittings and cleanliness, among other things.

The council said it was ‘delighted’ by the news.
