A vibrant celebration in the heart of Battle

A COLOURFUL procession burst into Battle High Street on Saturday, as part of the annual Battle’s Big Weekend.

Various local groups and organisations were represented in the carnival, which wound its way through the town centre, accompanied by music from the Battle Baptist Church and Section 5 drummers.

The carnival then returned to the recreation ground in North Trade Road for the start of the annual Battel Bonfire Boyes’ summer fair.
