Access All Areas youth festival at the De La Warr Pavilion this weekend

A festival designed for local youths takes place this weekend.

Access All Areas, the East Sussex Arts Festival, returns to the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill and promises to highlight the best of Youth Arts that the county has to offer.

Organised by the East Sussex Arts Partnership, the festival, now in its fourth year, takes place today, tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.

Aimed at young people aged from 13 to 19 years, the event will feature the regular programme of performance, film, dance workshops and exhibitions with additional highlights that include, the BBC Blast Creative Village, Friday night headline - Riz MC, JP. Omari of Streetfunk, the Festival Newsroom, Beatbox, theatre, dance and young band performances.

Workshops for 13 to 19 year olds are held during the day and are free.

There are two parties in the evening on Friday and Saturday priced 4 per ticket or 7 for both events. Stagecoach is offering 1 off bus tickets to travel to Access All Areas.

Susan Eskdale, Access All Areas co-ordinator said: "We're really looking forward to this year's festival which is packed with opportunities for young people to perform, exhibit and experience the very best of youth arts in East Sussex."
