Air ambulance called after OAP kicked by horse near Horley

An 80-year-old woman suffered a suspected head injury and rib fractures after she was kicked by a horse.

Paramedics and the air ambulance was called to the scene in Wilmost Lane, Horne, near Horley, at 12.40pm yesterday (Sunday October 25).

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said paramedics treated the woman at the scene.

She was driven to East Surrey Hospital for further checks as a priority.

She was fully conscious en route.
