Air Ambulance called following assault in Crawley

A man was taken to hospital with cuts to his head after being assaulted in Crawley.

Police, paramedics and the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance were called to Three Bridges Road at 3.24am today (Wednesday February 25) after the 27-year-old was attacked.

He was taken by road ambulance to East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, where he was treated for bruising to a shoulder and cuts to his head.

He was later discharged.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “A 31-year old local man was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and is currently in custody for interview and further enquiries.”
