Angmering students step our in style for their prom
Year-11s from The Angmering School came out in force to join in the party last week.
As always, the teenagers arrived at school in a range of wacky vehicles, with everything from camper vans, an ambulance and horse-pulled carriage, to an army jeep and a speedboat.

Many took the opportunity to slip into some striking suits and glamorous gowns to make their way down the red carpet at their school.
The students were then greeted by an outdoor funfair to enjoy, including a ‘test your strength’ game, hook-a-duck and a coconut shy.
This year’s prom party was held in the school’s hall, which was decked out in bold red, blue, green and yellow with the funfair theme continuing to the Ferris wheel cupcake stands and the popcorn and candy floss stalls.

Teacher Hannah Knox said: “The prom was a fitting end to a brilliant year with our Year-11 students. We have had an amazing student prom committee this year who worked very hard to ensure that every detail was perfect for the year group to enjoy.
“The school hall was transformed and even had the smell of the funfair with the popcorn and candy floss. The students put so much effort into their outfits and their transport for the evening and everyone who was there had an absolutely amazing time.“
The night ended with a stunning fireworks display.
