Fire investigators are continuing their inquiries into a possible arson attack which wrecked a Bognor Regis flat.

The experts are investigating the cause of the blaze in Glamis Street. More than 20 firefighters were called to the scene just after 4.30pm on Saturday (July 4).

A ground floor flat in the same property suffered 10 per cent damage by smoke and water.

The fire crews from Bognor and Chichester carried out a search of both floors when they arrived to make sure no one was trapped in the property.

They cut away and damped down the affected areas. It took 40 minutes before the fire was declared to be out.
