Arsonists hit Littlehampton flat

A LITTLEHAMPTON flat was attacked by arsonist in the early hours of this morning (Monday, October 27).

Firefighters were called to a first floor flat in South Terrace at 2.51am, and spent two-and-a-half hours there, putting out the flames and investigating the blaze.

Fire damage was restricted to furniture and clothes, though there was some smoke damage to the whole flat.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue confirmed the cause as

deliberate.
