Arsonists torch two cars at Littlehampton

TWO cars were torched at Littlehampton in the early hours of today (Wednesday, August 27).

The town's firefighters first dealt with a blazing Peugeot at the junction of Eldon Way and the A259 just before 2am. The car had been crashed into a drainage structure, abandoned and set on fire.

Just as the firefighters were about to leave they were called to another fire involving a Vauxhall Nova at Ferry Road, at 2.41. Arson is suspected in both cases.

Both cars were write-offs.
