Baptist Church reaches mile-stone
Battle Baptist Church celebrated its 235th anniversary last Sunday at Claverham Community College when more than 150 people filled the hall.
This was in stark contrast to the first church meeting over two centuries ago when only twelve people attended and to become a Baptist meant you were barred from Parliament.
