Barby Keel total raised
The open day at Barby Keel's animal rescue centre raised £8,043.54.
The total was 2,000 down on last year but Barby was pleased with it considering the bad weather and thanked visitors as well as her "motley" crew - the band of volunteers who help her at the Sanctuary in Freezeland Lane and the charity shop in St Leonards Road.
