Students at Holy Trinity School entertained primary school children when they invited them to watch the dress rehearsal of their play.
The young actors from the secondary school, in Gossops Green, gave their all in the performance of Beauty And The Beast on Wednesday (December 3).
They then did the whole thing again for their families and other guests who packed into the school hall between Thursday (December 4) and Saturday (December 6).
The cast of 47 students from Years 8-13, included Catherine Sleeman, as Beauty; James Ridgewell, as Beast; and Alex Reed, as the father.
Head of drama, Graham Hammett said the play was a non-musical version of the story which used physical theatre in which the cast created everything from walls to furniture.
He added: “We had some great reviews from people who said they thought it was really funny, entertaining and quite magical.”
