Best dog show yet

IT gets better for canines every year - the Bexhill Dog Show.

The fun competition took place alongside Bexhill Horse Show in the Polegrove and was “another great success” according to organiser Pam Dyer.

There were more than 130 dogs entered in the event and Best In Show was Billy Boy, a rough collie owned by Mrs A Thompson.

Best Puppy went to a westie called Lacey, whose owner is Pat Gallop.

Best Novelty In Show went to crossbreed Hamish who was accompanied by Rosanna Lear.

Pam said: “It was fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for better weather - it was perfect, not too cold and not too hot.

“It was the best show we have had so far. We had a very good response from people - we didn’t have any complaints.
