Bexhill Youth and Community Centre

An autumn fair will be held at Bexhill Youth and Community Centre in Station Road on September 29.

The event will be opened by Councillor Michael Ensor turning up in his 1925 Morris Cowley Bullnose at 10.30am to join other cars from the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club providing a display of cars on the front lawn.

Councillor Joy Hughes will also attend the event.

There will be tombolas, a cake stall, toy stall and many other fundraising activities.

The fair will end with the raffle draw at 1.00pm with first prize being a JVC UX-N1S Micro hifi system donated by Drays of Western Road.

Manager Paul White said: "We would also like to thank many local business for donating raffle prizes and also to Bexhill Old Town Preservation Society, Gibbons Mannington, SBS Consumables, Charlie the Clown, and S & S Taxis for sponsorship of the event."

He added: "Bexhill Youth and Community Centre has now been serving the community for 12 years from the building in Station Road.

We need to raise vital funds to help us and the building to continue its work ."
