Cricket: The village cricket club is away to Rotherfield with a start of 1.30pm.

New neighbours: We welcome the new residents to number 21 Levetts Lane. That was the home of Mr and Mrs Apps. We hope they will be as happy as we all are in Bodiam.

Church: The next service at St Giles will be the family service on September 7 at 11.15am. Also do not forget the harvest service on October 5 at 11.15am.

Mobile Library: The mobile library will be in Levetts Lane on September 4, 3-3.20pm.

Bodiam Castle: Nick Waterhouse, the number two at Bodiam Castle, is to take part in the Bodiam Triathlon on September 7 for Dragonflies, for bereaved children and young people trying to come to terms with changes in their lives. You can sponsor Nick on 01580 830211.
