FRIDAY AUGUST 5: Pilates with Laura at 9.15am. Brede Farmers Market in Brede Village Hall from 10am to noon with their wonderful assortment of stalls that meet your needs and more. Brede Short Mat Bowlers will be in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm.

SATURDAY AUGUST 6: The annual Fuchsia Show takes place this afternoon in Brede Village Hall.

SUNDAY AUGUST 7: Church Services this morning are as follows: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the old Northiam Road. If you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125. At St George’s Church the Sung Eucharist starts at 9.30am and Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Church’s Website is http://www.stgeorgesbrede.org.uk. The 10.30am service in the Methodist Church in Broad Oak will be led by the Reveren Helen Patten. Peggy Heim is the Pastoral Minister and can be contacted on 01424 422350.

MONDAY AUGUST 8: Yoga with Susan in Udimore Community Hall at 9.30am. Whist players will be in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm

TUESDAY AUGUST 9: Brede Painting for pleasure group meet at 9.30am in Brede Village Hall. The Knitters and Natters are in the Methodist Church 10am. Do join them if you like to knit or natter you will be warmly welcomed. Brede Mother’s Union members will be meeting at 10am at the Church Hall to travel to Bexhill for Mary Sumners Day. Please remember to take a picnic lunch.

AUGUST 29: Bank Holiday Monday, August 29, the Red Lion Car Boot Sale. Take your unwanted items to sell from 9am until 12 noon. Free pitches, free entrance. There are some trestle tables, it is first come first served. Reserve a pitch by calling 01424 882188 or email [email protected]. Site open at 8am for traders to set up.
