Friday 11 July Pilates begins at 9am then the Wea Practical Gardening Course from 11.15 – 1.15pm in Udimore Community Hall, The weekly Farmers Market is open from 10am –12pm in Brede Village Hall. The usual fruit & veg will be on offer as well as crafted items, meat & fish. Proceeds from the refreshments run by Brede Friendly Circle go to local charities decided by the group. The Rainbow Trout is hosting a live 60’s tribute band this evening, those going; have a good time. At 7.30pm the Short Mat bowlers will be meeting in Brede Village Hall.

Sunday July 13 the Family Eucharist begins at 9.30am in St Georges Brede, but if you are not up in time for that one there is a family service in St Mary’s Udimore at 11.15am. The morning worship at the Methodist Church will begin at 10.30am in Broad Oak.

Our Cricketers had no game last week, as the opposing side could not scramble up enough players. This afternoon they play an away game against Netherfield hopefully it will go ahead and as usual we wish them luck.

Monday 14 July Age Uk East Sussex – Brede Community Club are having an outing. They have been invited by Rye Age Concern to join them at Udimore for a picnic. This evening the uniformed groups meet beginning with the Rainbows In the small Hall at 4.00pm followed at 5.30pm by the Brownies.

In the Scout Hut Beavers begin at 5.30pm to 6.30pm and from 6.30 – 8.00pm Cubs.

Guides meet at Udimore Community Hall at 7.15pm.

The Whist player’s game of cards is held In Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm. Tuesday 15 July At 9am Pilates is in Udimore Community Hall. Brede Paining for Pleasure group is in Brede Village Hall this morning at 9.30am. In the Rainbow Trout this evening it is eyes down for Bingo at 8pm.

Wednesday 16 July Vocality Choir will be in Udimore Community Hall 2pm. The Flower Festival Planning meeting is at 7.30pm in St Georges Brede for interested people.

Thursday 17 July Stretch and Tone at 9.30am with Sally in Brede Village Hall. Friday 18 July Pilates begins at 9am then the Wea Practical Gardening Course from 11.15 – 1.15pm in Udimore Community Hall, The weekly Farmers Market is open from 10am –12pm in Brede Village Hall. The Rainbow Trout is hosting a live 60’s tribute band this evening, so it it’s time to dig out the mini skirts and long leather or maybe plastic boots and go for a twist,

Sunday 20 July garden Fête at 2 Bellhurst Cottages Chitcombe Road Broad Oak Brede 2.30pm – 5pm entry £3.50 and will include a cream tea and entertainment by some Brede Players. There will be a raffle, book stall, bric a brac and cake stall – cakes would be welcome please cake bakers. The proceeds are for our Brede Village Hall to go towards the refurbishment of items in the Hall.
