British Legion Award for Long Service
TWENTY years of faithful service to Bexhill branch of the Royal British Legion has been honoured at a presentation ceremony.
Long-serving branch standard-bearer Ernie Sage has performed the vital function since 1988.
Now he has had to give up because of health problems.
At a ceremony at Legion headquarters in London Road last Friday, Ernie was presented with a commemorative plaque by branch chairman Len Lawrence in the presence of his wife and committee members.
