Burglars enter Chichester home by climbing scaffolding

Police are appealing for witnesses after burglars gained entry to a Chichester property by climbing scaffolding.

On Saturday, July 18, between 12.45pm and 3pm there was a burglary in Lyndhurst Road, Chichester.

Police said the offenders entered the house by climbing up some scaffolding, onto a conservatory roof and in through a small first floor toilet window.

An iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 were stolen from the address along with a Playstation portable games console, a gold ring with a purple amethyst stone and a black shopping bag.

Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
