Burning smell prompts fire call out

EMERGENCY services were called to a Littlehampton cafe when staff reported a burning smell.

Littlehampton fire crews arrived at the Putting Green Cafe, Norfolk Road, just after 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, November 12), and found that the smell was caused by water in an electricity box.

The incident was handed over to the electricity board at 2.04pm.
