Burwash

Mary Taylor, Holton Cottages

Last Saturday Jazz & Eric Botting & Heather & Barry Lewis hosted a coffee morning in the burwash scout hut forMacMillan Nurses. THey were really delighted with the support they received and are pleased that they raised over £460. Well done to them and thank you to everyone who went along to support their efforts.

There was plenty of chat and reminiscing at the Bygone Burwash event last Sunday. Mary Taylor & Jackie Ashdown are very grateful to everyone who lent them items to display which gave the visitors lots to see and remember. Our grateful thanks to paul Ellis who always spends all day with us and brings alone so much for us to see. One of hte highlights was the actual, very heavy, metal sign from the White hart pub, which many didn’t know existed. The refreshments and raffle were well supported and we thank everyone for coming along, making it such an enjoyable day.
