Stuart Beare, the owner of Tulleys Farm, Turners Hill Road, Crawley, said this year’s theme, based on a medieval castle, was chosen because it appealed to all generations.

The Tulleys Giant Maize Maze and Puzzle Park has more than 25 different rides, slides and attractions. It will be open for the whole of he summer holidays from 10am to 6pm.

People can see the maze by torchlight on selected nights in August.

Mr Beare said: “Many people believe that the maze is just for young families. But in actual fact, we get a wide range of people of all ages coming to the maze to enjoy a more interesting walk in the countryside. It’s a great location for a first date, just as much as it is for a family day out. So we chose the castle theme for the maze because it transcends generations and will appeal to everyone.”
