Celebrating Spring Art Exhibition

An art exhibition called Celebrating Spring is to be held at the Southwater Community Centre, Stainsby Street, St Leonards from this weekend.

Around 30 artists (toddlers to pensioners) are involved in the project and come from all different walks of life and backgrounds.

Exhibits will comprise of photography, drawings, paintings, ceramics, textiles and mixed media pieces.

Organiser/Curator Nick Hill said: “The artists selected have all in some way or other affected me or supported me in pursuing my artistic vocation, which I started with a Foundation Course at Hastings College.”

The exhibition is open March 25, 27, 28, 30, and April 1-4, 9-5pm or by appointment 01424 461414 or 07984732716.
