Celebration of Rattigan

Chichester Festival Theatre has organised a host of events supporting its mid-season Rattigan mini-festival

Anthony Calf and Amanda Root feature in Rattigan’s The Deep Blue Sea from July 13-September 3; Jonathan Hyde and Malcolm Sinclair lead the cast in Rattigan’s Nijinsky by Nicholas Wright, based on a screenplay by Rattigan (July 19-September 3).

But a number of ancillary events will take things further.

Into The Deep Blue… is a free pre-show talk offering the opportunity to join Michael Darlow, author of Terence Rattigan: The Man and His Work, as he sets The Deep Blue Sea in the wider context of the playwright’s life and influences. This talk takes place on Monday, August 1 at 6pm in the Steven Pimlott Building.
