A CHAINSAW worth £200 was stolen from a farm in Witherenden near Burwash between 12.45pm and 3.40pm on January 14.

It is believed a white Escort van entered the farmyard and a man in his late teens stole the chainsaw from a building. He wore a dark blue hat, jeans and a top.

Hedge trimmers and chainsaws worth 4,000 were stolen from a business in Eridge Lane, Rotherfield, overnight on January 14.
