Charity Market animal farm

FOLLOWING the popularity of Arthur Lodge veterinary surgery’s animal farm last year, a host of farmyard favourites will once again be taking over Horsham on Sunday April 1, as part of the Rotary Club’s charity market.

Situated within the Carfax area of Horsham town from 10am to 4pm, the mobile farm will include a calf, donkey, sheep, goat, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and a dog.

Julian Peters, owner of Arthur Lodge, said that he is pleased to be able to bring the animal farm to the Rotary’s charity market for another year.

“It is a really great balance between education and fun as it gives children, as well as adults, the chance to learn about the animals in a hands-on environment,” he said.

“I hope that the farm will help to attract a large number of visitors to the market, thus raising more money for the charities.”

The farm is a key feature of the Rotary’s charity market which will feature a variety of charities from the local area selling merchandise and raising awareness of vital causes.
