Choir concert from twin town women

The Weil am Rhein ladies' choir will be singing sacred and secular songs in a concert at St Wilfrid's Church in Ellasdale Road at 7.30pm on Friday, May 18.

Comprising about 30 singers, the German choir's members are mixing a holiday with entertaining.

Their repertoire in the concert will consist of works by Mendelssohn, Rossini, Mozart, Brahms, Schubert and Paul McCartney.

There will also be organ and piano solos by Rex Latter.

Admission is free but a retiring collection will be held for church funds.
