Circus day fun in Crawley's Queens Square

A circus day was held in Queens Square to kick off Crawley's exciting summer activity programme.

On Saturday (July 4), families enjoyed a fun day of shows and workshops, watching jugglers and entertainers.

The Balloonatics were also in town, and visitors could have a go with help from Circuswurx community circus.

On Saturday, July 18, visitors can get a taste of European culture and tradition at the International Summer Fest, which will take place from noon to 4pm.

The colourful entertainment will include Four by Four Bhangra and dancers, Nutkhut Princesses, stilt walkers and more.

Councillor Peter Smith, cabinet member for economic development, said: “We are really pleased to launch this summer events programme, which will have a positive impact on the town centre ahead of the major regeneration work in Queens Square starting next year.”

“There’s lots of variety and should be something for everyone to enjoy.”
