Coach operator raises £1500 for Poppy Appeal
RESIDENTS flocking to the Tower of London’s poignant poppy display have raised over £1,500 for charity.
Residents from across the Herald and Gazette patch who took a trip to the display with Bognor-based Woods Travel were asked to make donations to the Poppy Appeal on their coaches.
A total of £1538 was raised over the course of 15 coach journeys, which transported around 785 people to the display.
Woods Travel directors thanked the public for their support.
