Collision causes blockage on the A27 at Lewes
Queuing traffic was reported on the A27 Lewes bypass this afternoon (Wednesday, November 28) following an accident.
One lane of the road between the Ashcombe and Southerham Roundabouts was blocked following a collision, Sussex Traffic Watch posted at approximately 4.45pm.
AA Traffic Watch said the accident involved a van and a car on the A27 eastbound near the junction with the A26.
Lane two (of two) was blocked approaching Southerham, with congestion stretching back to Ashcombe.
