A Copthorne mum is transforming the lives of thousands of women around the world, just eight years after a painful divorce left her almost penniless and facing a crippling £1 million debt.
Joanne Oswell-Jones is the author of the self-help sensation, The Soulful Woman, and director of a consultancy by the same name that provides guidance and inspiration women. Her book was this month voted My Well-Being Magazine’s Book of The Month.
Joanne said: “We all face times in our lives when it feels as though we’re losing the very foundation upon which our lives have been built upon. It’s a very scary time in which you can feel totally alone.
“I chose to develop some core nourishing practices involving personal development and self-love to help me get through what I can only describe as my ‘personal hell’.
“It’s been such an uplifting experience in sharing these practices with other women who are facing huge challenges too.”
Her book is a selection of practical steps, services, and products that were instrumental in helping Joanne overcome the challenges of finding herself a single mum with two daughters to care for.
Joanne’s publicist Kizzi Nkwocha said: “Joanne’s story is a remarkable tale of determination, courage and persistence.
“She has become an inspiration to women all over the world and has changed many lives.”
