Council apology over delayed rubbish collection
Crawley Borough Council has apologised to residents in Northgate after several roads did not have their rubbish collected today (Tuesday January 7).
Householders in Shaws Road, Railey Road, Woodside Road, North Close, South Close and Mead Road have been asked to put their refuse back out to be collected early on Wednesday morning.
A spokesman for the council said the delay was due to the quantity of rubbish collected from other homes and added: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
