A meeting is to be held this Friday (October 23) over the Shoreham Airshow ribbons tribute on the Old Toll Bridge after residents raised concern that it is bad for the environment.
Leader of West Sussex County Council Louise Goldsmith said she has listened to concerns and will address them in a meeting.
She said: “We are listening to the friends and families about this extremely sensitive issue and would like to meet them to discuss a way forward. The ribbon display will not come down before that meeting.
Hundreds of ribbons were tied to the bridge on Thursday, October 8, in memory of 24-year-old victim Matt Jones from Littlehampton and the other ten victims.
