COUNTY TRAVEL: Train delays due to sickness

Train services running across the whole Southern Railway network may be cancelled or delayed until the end of Friday, May 13, due to conductor sickness.

The services are continuing to be affected by a high level of sickness, which is leading to a reduced service on a number of routes, according to Southern Railway.

The company says it has reviewed the service amendments made yesterday and has revised plans in order to provide a better overall service.

Live departure boards have been updated along with the online journey planner.

Southern Railway said their tickets are being accepted on Brighton and Hove bus services between Brighton and Shoreham, including Route 2.

South West Trains will also accept Southern tickets between Portsmouth and London Waterloo, and Portsmouth and Southampton.
