Crawley play area gets a makeover

Bewbush youngsters had a fun time at a reopened play area.

The Coxcomb Walk park has undergone a makeover and now has an array of colourful, modern play equipment.

Children and parents were asked what equipment they wanted to see during a consultation last year.

Crawley Borough Council has installed new swings, climbing net and wall, slide, fireman’s pole, and balancing poles.

Councillor Chris Mullins, Cabinet member for Wellbeing, said: “The new play equipment looks fantastic and it was wonderful to see so many children enjoying themselves at the opening.

“This is just one of many play areas we are investing in around the town.”
