Pupils at Gossops Green Primary School in Crawley have joined a campaign to help a dog charity in their rehoming Christmas appeal.
Rescue Remedies Dog Rescue is a registered dog charity based in Surrey, that currently has 124 dogs looking for homes, 95 of those in boarding kennels in Surrey and Herts. We save dogs that are due to be put to sleep in pounds, and find them loving forever homes. Last year we saved 350 dogs and rehomed 361. We specialize in working type terriers, staffies, American Bulldogs and other bull breeds, but also help many other dogs of all shapes and sizes
It costs us £56 a week to keep one dog safe in kennels, so our kennels bills are our highest expense. We have launched our Christmas Wish Appeal to ask supporters to donate for our kennel fund, and also consider welcoming one of our dogs into their home.
Nikki Black from Rescue remeidies Dog Rescue said: “We are thrilled that the reception year and year one children at Gossops Green Primary school, along with the lovely staff, are helping us.
“They sang their hearts out in our video and are spreading the message of the dog’s Christmas Wish ‘Please Adopt Me!’.”
