Angle grinder break-in sees £2,000 stolen from Crawley Subway

Burglars who used an angle grinder to break into safes stole £2,000 from a sandwich shop.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said Subway, Gatwick Road, was broken into at 11.40pm on Sunday (August 2).

Some £2,000 was stolen from two safes which were broken into using an angle grinder.

A rear window was found smashed. The building’s alarm was activated.

People with information were asked to contact police. Call 101 quoting 0026 02/08
