A cyclist ‘doing a wheelie’ in Burgess Hill collided with a woman in a wheelchair, police said.

The incident happened yesterday (September 3) on Church Walk, Mid Sussex Police confirmed.
A spokesman said: “A male aged around 18-years-old was doing a wheelie on his bike with his mates when he collided with a lady in a wheelchair.”
The ‘incompetent’ stunt rider didn’t stop, he added.
The spokesman said: “There’s a time and a place, pedestrian area equals no cycling.”
