Car arson in Crawley

A car was set on fire in Crawley.

Firefighters were called to the scene in Rillside, Furnace Green at 3.30am today (February 22).

A fire service spokesman said the Crawley crew used breathing gear and a hose to extinguish the flames.

Half of the car was fire damaged.

Firefighters were in attendance for some 25 minutes.

Police were informed of the arson.
