Car crashes in Brighton after failing to stop for police

A car crashed at Brighton Marina when it didn’t stop for police officers.

Sussex Police said at 3.47am on Monday December 21 a car failed to stop for police and crashed on the A259 as a result.

The driver made off after the collision, according to police.

Police say enquiries to locate the driver to ensure their welfare continue and an investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway.
