The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates, sitting at Crawley and Horsham from September 14 to September 18.

Samantha Cole, 30, of Moat Farm Close, Marston Moretaine, was fined £210, with a £21 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to reporting for duty as a cabin crew member at Gatwick Airport with excess blood alcohol.

Charlie Thomas, 19, of Hedgecourt Place, Felbridge, was banned from driving for a year, with a six month conditional discharge, a £110 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis, and to driving with excess delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (metabolised from cannabis) in his blood.

Simon Randall, 62, of Glanville Walk, Crawley, was fined £360, with a £36 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance.

Mark Batchelor, 55, of Finsbury Close, Crawley, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £150 costs. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Robert Conn, 35, of Warren Drive, Crawley, was given a six month conditional discharge, with £60 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a fence panel.

Edward Robins, 41, of Bodiam Close, Crawley, was fined £600, with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Bolney.

Bruce Sexton, 36, of Goldstone Road, Hove, was fined £400, with a £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and four penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of speeding at Crawley.

Matthew Stevens, 41, of Dobson Road, Crawley, was fined £600, with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of driving without insurance, and driving without a licence.

Abdullah Mahmud, 34, of Grove Road, Romford, was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of speeding at East Grinstead.

Fehad Javaid, 27, of Borrowdale Close, Crawley, was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone while driving.

Anit Vadgama, 56, of Ifield Road, Charlwood, was banned from driving for six months, with a £1,025 fine, and a £62 victim surcharge. He had been convicted in his absence on two counts of failing to identify a driver suspected of committing an offence.

Alan McGrath, 42, of Stane Street, Billingshurst, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at East Grinstead.

Ateeq Ur Rehman, 31, of Juniper Road, Crawley, was fined £300, with a £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and seven penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention.

Laura Stone, 25, of The Street, Charlwood, was fined £50, with a £20 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to assault, and to four counts of begging in a public place, all in Crawley.

Dennis Watson, 28, of Stoneleigh Close, Waltham Cross, was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to stealing a camera at Gatwick Airport.

Scott Fitzcoy, 27, of Linchmere Place, Crawley, was fined £185, with £100 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault.

Lewis Piper, 18, of Watson Close, Maidenbower, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and £50 compensation. He had pleaded guilty to sending messages that were offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing; using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress; and causing criminal damage to a wall. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting a named woman, or going to a road in Crawley.

Stephen Shaw, 60, of Tushmore Avenue, Crawley, was fined £570, with £75 compensation, a £38 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault, and to causing criminal damage.

Badsha Miah, 46, of High Street, East Grinstead, was given a community order with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Colin Nolan, 42, of Cardiff Bridge Road, Finglass West, was fined £150, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Gatwick Airport.

Tracy Keeley, 42, of Blackwell Farm Road, East Grinstead, was given a seven week jail sentence, suspended for a year, with 180 hours of unpaid work, £242.58 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge, and £300 costs. She had been found guilty on five counts of fraud by false representation - using someone else’s bank card in Crawley and Copthorne. A restraining order was made, barring her from contacting a named man, or going to an address in Crawley.

Andrew Ripley, 25, of Henderson Road, Crawley, was given a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, £200 compensation, a £50 fine, a £60 victim surcharge, £625 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to criminal damage, and been found guilty of common assault. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting a named woman, or going to an address in Crawley.

Nicola Buckingham, 41, of Caburn Heights, Crawley, was fined £165, with a £20 victim surcharge, £200 costs, and six penalty points added to her licence. She had been convicted in her absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding.

Vasile-Stefan Danila, 24, of no fixed address, was jailed for two months, with an £80 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to theft from Asda in West Green, breaching bail conditions, and breaching a conditional discharge.

Iwona Duleba, 27, of Treeview, Crawley, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.

Sam Johnson, 24, of Vancouver Drive, Crawley, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug (cocaine), and breaching a suspended sentence order.

Trevor Gamble, 50, of Holtye Road, East Grinstead, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £300 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault.
