Court results - Crawley

The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Marinely de Mar Perez Cubillan, 46, of Dorsten Place, Crawley, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance.

Colm Gaul, 21, of East Park, Crawley, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug (cannabis).

Tyler Harvey, 22, of Brook Close, East Grinstead, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and admitted breaching a suspended sentence.

Hannah Crawford, 29, of Heath Close, Broadbridge Heath, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £100.60 compensation. She had pleaded guilty to one count of making off from a Crawley petrol station without paying, and asked for three other offences to be taken into consideration.

Jenny Tullett, 29, of Court Lodge Road, Horley, was fined £75, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £110 costs. She had pleaded guilty to being the registered keeper of an uninsured vehicle.

Luke Brown, 25, of Robin Close, East Grinstead, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had been found guilty of driving without an MoT certificate at East Grinstead.

Lee Erikson, 25, of Beckford Way, Maidenbower, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of driving without a licence at Crawley.

Istvan Kiss, 42, of Yattenden Road, Horley, was fined £400, with a £20 victim surcharge, £170 costs, and four penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of speeding.

Jade Rawlings, 22, of Bittern Close, Ifield, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, £40 costs, and six penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance at Crawley.

Keith Walsh, 36, of Netley Close, New Addington, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Thomas Carle, 19, of Oxford Road, Crawley, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour (both in Crawley) and using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Redhill.

Fehad Javaid, 27, of Borrowdale Close, Crawley, was fined £250, with a £25 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without a licence at Handcross.

Bik Khadija, 48, of Adelaide Road, London, was fined £500, with a £25 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. She had pleaded guilty to theft of sunglasses, and to theft of vodka and perfume, all from shops at Gatwick Airport.

Edley Marie, 29, of Hazel Close, Crawley, was given a community order with a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of theft (from Asda in West Green, and from Morrisons in Crawley), and to failing to answer bail.

Tongye Ye, 33, of Ifield Road, Crawley, was banned from driving for six months, with a £167 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Crawley.

Corey Mitchell, 22, of no fixed address, was given a community order with a £60 victim surcharge, and £250 costs. He had pleaded guilty to assault, and common assault, both in Crawley. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting either of the victims, or going to an address in Crawley.

Jack Roffey, 23, of Tyler Road, Crawley, was given a six week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, with 150 hours unpaid work, an £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and £250 compensation. He had pleaded guilty to using violence to secure entry to a property, common assault, and two counts of assaulting a police officer, all in Crawley. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting one named person.

Christopher Pawley, 31, of Brighton Road, Crawley, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £200 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at East Grinstead.

Horatiu Stuparu, 28, of Salt Hill Drive, Slough, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to theft from Asda in Crawley.

Claire Green, 53, of Pine Gardens, Ruislip, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £100 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, and £300 costs. She had been found guilty of assault in Crawley.
