Court results - Crawley

The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

David Standard, 31, of Hackenden Close, East Grinstead, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £35 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in East Grinstead.

Catherine Miller, 36, of Charrington Way, Broadbridge Heath, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty ro resisting a police officer in Crawley.

Chris Mordaunt, 23, of Thatcher Close, Crawley, was given a community order, with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to harassment. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim, or going to an address in Crawley.

Grant Weyman, 24, of Lingfield Road, Edenbridge, was banned from driving for 14 months, with a £440 fine, a £44 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Crawley.

David Wilson, 28, of Meadowland, Chineham, was banned from driving for three years, with a £480 fine, a £48 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Crawley.

Beatrice Grajdeanu, 22, of Bodicea Mews, Hounslow, was fined £80, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to theft from Morrisons in Crawley.

Mohammed Bhairien, 19, of Dart Street, London, was fined £160, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had been found guilty of stealing Cartier sunglasses worth £1,516.67 from Sunglasses Hut at Gatwick, and pleaded guilty to failing to answer bail.

William Mason, 19, of Banks Road, Crawley, was fined £145, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using a car fitted with a blue warning light.

Sarah Armstrong, 33, of Peterlee Walk, Crawley, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had been convicted in her absence of speeding at Crawley.

Aaron Huykman, 42, of Shotters Hammonds Ridge, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for four weeks, with a £1,000 fine, a £100 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Crawley.

Danny Westlake, 33, of Haroldslea, Horley, was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to three counts of driving with an illegally worn tyre in Crawley.

Oliver Shaw, 18, of Honeysuckle Lane, Crawley, was fined £80, with £100 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer at Crawley.
