The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley from June 29 to July 3.

Richard Grundy, 54, of The Grattons, Slinfold, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty stealing bottles of wine from Sainsbury’s in Horsham, failing to answer bail, and breaching two conditional discharges for theft.

Gregory Guilvert, 33, of no fixed address, was fined £270, with a £27 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A264 at Horsham.

Carl Holmes, 41, of South Holmes Road, Horsham, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £100 compensation, £50 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to resisting a police constable, and to two counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Harry Jupp, 19, of Horsham Road, Crawley, was sentenced to six weeks in a young offender institution, with £80 compensation, £650 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been found guilty on two counts of common assault in Southwater, and pleaded guilty to failing to answer bail.

Darren McInally, 48, of Brookers Road, Billingshurst, was fined £90, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in Horsham Road, Crawley.

Katie Price, 37, of Worthing Road, Dial Post, was fined £700, with a £70 victim surcharge, £450 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to driving through a red light on the A24 at Buck Barn.
