Crawley acid attack - two men in court

Two men have appeared in crown court following an acid attack on a man at Crawley Leisure Park on August 30.

Lee Bates, 25, of Halston Close, London, and Michael McPherson, 26, of Aldrington Road, London, have been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, assault and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

They were each at Hove Trial Centre for a preliminary hearing on Friday October 9.

Judge Charles Kemp adjourned the case until November 16, when they are due to enter pleas.
