Three people who were arrested on suspicion of an assault causing grievous bodily harm have been released without charge.

A police appeal said a man, 29, suffered a serious facial injury when he was punched in the face after an altercation with them in Stephenson Way, Three Bridges, at about 1.20am on October 12.

A Sussex Police spokesman said the two men, aged 24 and 26, and 33-year-old woman, were released from bail with no charges brought against them because insufficient evidence was available for a prosecution.
