Crawley High Street attack suspects rebailed

Crawley men who were arrested following a robbery in Crawley High Street have had their police bail extended.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and GBH with intent after officers on patrol found a 26-year-old man with facial injuries near Angeliques at 2am on December 4.

They were released on police bail until yesterday (Monday March 7) and have been rebailed as enquiries continued until April 20.

The victim told officers he had been attacked and had his smart phone and cash stolen.

Detective Sergeant Karrie Bohanna said: “We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen something outside Angeliques in the early hours of that Saturday morning.

“Witnesses can email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting reference 178 of 04/12.”
