Crawley man charged with burglary and theft

A Crawley man has been charged with burglary and theft following a police pursuit involving a number of collisions.

Thomas Delaney, 28, of Rother Crescent, Gossops Green, and three males are due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates’ Court, Redhill, today (Saturday August 8), police said.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said officers were called to Stafford Road, Caterham, at 11.50am yesterday.

A number of collisions took place as police attempted to stop a black Audi vehicle driving away from the scene.

Delaney, Mark Ellis, 19, of Green Lane, Outwood, Redhill and a 17-year-old from the Redhill area have been charged with burglary and theft.

Mark Baker, 21, of Green Lane, Outwood, Redhill was charged with burglary, theft, dangerous driving and having no insurance.
